Refresh herbal tea
Green tea – high in antioxidants, protecting your body from free radical damage. Studies have found Green tea can increase metabolism and lower LDL cholesterol (bad). It also contains the amino acid L-theanine, which directly stimulates the production of alpha brain waves, creating a state of deep relaxation and mental alertness.
Peppermint – contains antispasmodic and antimicrobial properties, improving digestion and reducing IBS symptoms. Menthol, the main component of peppermint is also an effective decongestant, reducing swollen membranes making it easier to breathe.
Lemon myrtle – native to the subtropical rainforests of southeast Queensland. Lemon myrtle gently stimulates digestion and reduce symptoms such as bloating and cramping. It also contains antioxidant, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties to help treat a sore throat and clear congestion.
Lime peel – has an alluring scent which causes your mouth to water, aiding digestion. Limes contain a significant amount of vitamin C, a well-known antioxidant.
