Description

Alfalfa – known as “the king of food”. Naturally high in many essential vitamins and minerals including vitamins A, D, E, K, B complex, biotin, calcium, folate, iron, magnesium and potassium, making it a true superfood.

Spirulina – contains all the essential amino acids (building blocks of life). In addition it is a good source of copper, iron, manganese and vitamins B1,B2, B3, B5, K.

Chlorella – rich in chlorophyll, helping to detoxify the body, plus digestive enzymes such as chlorophyllase and pepsin aiding digestion.

Kale – loaded with many beneficial compounds including vitamin K important for blood clotting and bone health, vitamin A to support vision and vitamin C for a healthy immune system and collagen production.

Spinach – high in fibre, vitamins A, C, E and K, B1,  B6, folate, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper, and manganese.

Broccoli – contains a significant amounts of vitamin C, K, A, B6, dietary fibre, folate, potassium, selenium, manganese, tryptophan (mood regulator), phosphorus and antioxidant compounds boosting overall health.

Kelp – contains a significant amount of the mineral iodine, which is important for optimal thyroid function and metabolism.

Matcha green tea – high in chlorophyll (green pigment) is a natural detoxifier, chlorophyll helps to detoxify the body and remove toxins including heavy metals.

Shiitake – contain natural antiviral and immunity-boosting properties helping fight viruses and infections. Shiitake mushrooms contain glucans (plant sugars). Glucans cannot be broken down in our digestive tract, they pass undigested all the way through to our large intestine where they help support the growth of benefical bacteria in the digestive tract.

Ginger: contains anti-inflammatory properties effective in the treatment of menstrual cramps headaches and muscle pain.  Ginger can improve the absorption of essential nutrients by stimulating enzyme secretion, making it a great addition to every meal.

Amla berry – also known as Indian gooseberries. Amal is rich in vitamin C, an antioxidant that can prevent free radical damage and required for collagen synthesis. Amla berries are also a good source of soluble and insoluble fibre aiding digestion.

Papaya – contains an enzyme called papain, which helps break down proteins making papaya an excellent digestive aid, reducing bloating and indigestion. Papaya also contains anti-inflammatory properties that may reduce the severity of the symptoms of aches and pains related to injury.

Chicory root –  high in inulin, an important prebiotic fibre to help support the growth of benefical bacteria in the digestive tract.

Tulsi or Holy Basil – known as the “queen of herbs”. It is the most sacred of all the herbs found in India. Used in India for around 5000 years and is known for its healing properties of the mind, body and spirit. Loaded with many benefits from strengthening immunity, fighting bacterial and viral infections, maintaining  healthy skin and shiny hair.

Aloe vera – generally known for its skin soothing and healing properties. Aloe can also be used to help reduce irritation in the digestive tract from irritable bowel syndrome or constipation.

Dandelion root – acts as a mild laxative to promotes digestion. It can increase the release of stomach acid and bile to aid digestion, especially of fats.

St Mary thistle – can protect hepatocytes (liver cells) from long-term damage. Used in Western herbal medicine to support liver damage due to conditions like non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, hepatitis and even liver cancer.
